Anakin's Betrayal.

Anakin is told lies by Chancellor Palpatine which cause him to lose "faith" in his fellow Jedi and turn away from them to join an alliance with Palpatine {actually Darth Sidious} in hopes of learning "how to keep Padme' from certain death." After kneeling before Sidious, Anakin accepts his duties to "do what must be done...show no mercy, for all Jedi are now an enemy of the Republic." -including his friend and mentor, Obi-Wan Kenobi. He hurries off to "cleanse the temple" and prepare to cut down the Seperatists on Mustafar as well as face his old Master for the "Duel of the Fates."




Anakin's betrayal of the Jedi by joining the Sith is one of those monumental shifts in the story of "Revenge..., hence the title. It hurt me to watch him hurt everyone around him besides Palpatine of course, justifying it all in his head because his intention was to save his beloved Padme'.Those of us who have seen the film or have friends and family who can't keep a secret know things don't turn out as Anakin planned...by no stretch of the imagination, but of course that was to be expected..."Sith, is about Anakin becoming Darth Vader!
