My Love,

I am overcome with emotion upon hearing your news. To hear those words pass from your lips, "Ani, I'm pregnant...Gods, what a blessing you are to me. Padme', I only hope I will be the father to our child that I didn't have. My heart feels as if it is about to overflow with the love and happiness I am feeling. I meant it when I told you this is the happiest day of my life. My only fear is the knowledge that with this blessing comes an unavoidable circumstance telling the "truth" of our love to everyone from whom we have been concealing it.

I am so very proud that you are my wife and have longed to shout it amongst the stars so, everyone would know how dear to me you are and always have been. Now, I will have that oppourtunity as it will soon become a necessity to do so. I know with that assertion will come a price...I may lose my title and position and you will no doubt lose yours but, I've no regret in my mind that being your husband has been and will continue to contribute to my happiness in a much more profound way now than any other committment that preceded it. I know I have told you many times how much I love you. I wish my heart could speak the words that it contains for my love runs so deeply for both of you * I feel as though "love" doesn't convey it quite enough as I would like.

Once we get past the unpleasantries of revealing or hard-kept "secret", no matter how key figures in our lives react to it , I want us to take some time for "us", just us. So, we can make plans for our child whom will of course become our primary focus. I can't wait to hold him, yes...him. I hope it is a son so I can teach him all I've learned about our world for he will undoubtably have some of my attributes and will need me to guide him in how to use them. Of course if you bare me a daughter, I will love her more than the waking world but, of course she will have more to learn from you instead.

My darling, you are sleeping as I write this in my journal. I had to pour my feelings out onto the page, sort of a keepsake that I can return to when I feel the need. Since we have been together the entries have been filled with joy and discovery unlike the ones I wrote of sadness when It became necessary to leave my mother behind or come to grips with the lose of her. No, the ones I write now are so much easier for me, you are in my life and that has given me joy beyond the written word.

When we make love, the feelings the act of love invokes in me are nearly indescribable. The way you touch me lights a "fire inside" that will never be quenched, nor would I ever want it to and touching you and how you react to my touch has brought me so much joy I cannot measure. Feeling you shudder underneath me has become what I strive for when we are intimate as your pleasure means far more to me than my own. Now that you are carrying the product of our love I will have to be gentler with you and the intensity we have enjoyed will have to be put away in exchange for a more cautious tone. Soul Stirrings...by Lillith

This is a letter I wrote when I found myself wondering what would be Anakin's Interpretation of his and Padme' courtship and how their relationship came about seen through his eyes...I hope you enjoy it as much I enjoyed the journey It took me on in writing it. Here it is:

My dear wife,
I remember the very first time I saw you, you looked like an "Angel" and I told you so. I felt so fortunate to have met you and our time together although brief was an awakening of sorts for me. I feared you would forget me so, I gave you a piece of my heart. I remember you told me you didn't need anything to remember me by and my heart sank and then I realized you meant you would have,with or without the "gift" I had given you and my soul stirred within me at the reciprocation of feelings between us. We had come from two very different worlds and your duties as Queen, and mine as a padawan training for knighthood as a Jedi, required we go our seperate ways and so, we parted; you back to your people, and me back to Obi-Wan's care. I felt like a piece of me was being ripped away, but my friend had much yet to teach me and though it pained me to leave you I was hopeful of all I would learn...

Ten years went by and I never forgot the child-prodigy, the little queen who befriended me in the form of a handmaiden. Whatever form you took to claim, for me your beauty was unsurpassed, your strength, truely inspiring. I vowed that I would find my way back to you no matter what and I made a promise to my heart. I will never forget that fateful day when I saw you. You were just like I had seen you time and time again in my dreams. I was hurt by the words you spoke in an attempt to deter others away from notice, the notice of the stirrings of our souls as our eyes locked in recognition. I only hoped you would see me as I am...a man, deeply devoted to you and only you. Then all of a sudden your heart spoke to me through the force and you said you had missed me too. I was grateful and I made another vow...that I would claim you for my own.

As fate would have it I was chosen to protect you and accompany you back to your homeland after the attempt on your life and I saw this as an oppourtunity to reach out to you in a more profound way and enlisted all I had within me to make you see that deep down iside of you, you knew you belonged with me. That fireside night at the retreat I poured out my soul to you but, you where not ready and even looking back on it now I can't breathe, the thought of not being with you too much for me to bear. I told you I shared your feelings about not wanting to live a "secret" life as we were forbidden to fall in love, but deep inside me an unseen beast ripped at my heart and I silenced it the best I could so as not to frighten you away.

One of the most wonderful and most terrible days in my recent memory was the day you spoke the words I had longed to hear. We were bound and marked for death, and you leaned in towards me and said that you loved me and wanted me to know before we died. My soul stirred again but, the joy was short lived as we were wisked into the arena to face our captors. Words can not express the joy that I have now knowing we have made it though that and now we have time to plan our lives together, for Iv'e planned to take you as my wife...if only you will have me.

Padme', thank you for loving me and agreeing to take me as your husband. I must be the happiest Jedi in the entire galaxy for my dream of having you as my own has been realized...the brief ceremony on Naboo that we stole away to achieve, our secret embedded in our hearts, makes me smile as I look at you. You are sleeping and I am in awe of the beauty by my side...how I have longed for this day. I am taken back by the miracle that we are. I can't remember what my life was like before the love I have for you began. Even now as I watch your body move slightly in sleep an overpowering feeling to touch you threatens to overcome me but, I restrain it the best I can, once is enough my love, for you are spent. My fragile Angel must rest. I only hope I didn't hurt you, you are so delicate with your feather-light caressess and tender trusting manner, your eyes never leaving me, allowing me to drown in all that is you. I wanted to go slower but, my body had ached for you for so long I could not hold back...forgive me my weakness, my darling; in taking you too quickly. Being inside you was a Heaven I never knew existed. The next time we are intimate I promise to take my time, to devote the attention to your body, your heart deserves. I want you to always remember I am yours, and only yours Padme'. I love you so very much, you are in my soul...my very being, you are my everything, promise me you will never leave me, for I shutter to think of what I may become without you there to ground me, to satisfy the hunger inside me as only you can. Rumor on the net is his name is Rory Zeflin...Damn Rory, not bad! This picture of Rory was taken in a lobby area at Lucasfilm's Celebration 3 back in May. Anakin's Betrayal part 2, becoming Vader.

After arguing with Padme' trying to make her understand that he is now in a position of power which is beneficial to them both. Anakin turns his attention back to Obi-Wan and
the duel on planet Mustafar continues. Anakin threatens to jump an incline and is cut by Obi's lightsaber causing him to slide down the embankment and become severely burned. This is why Darth Sidious takes him away to be forever encased in the black armour and mask so recognized by popular culture. It is actually a life-support system of sorts.
Looks sad, not menacing...he has just learned of Padme's death in childbirth. -Lillith

Anakin's Betrayal.

Anakin is told lies by Chancellor Palpatine which cause him to lose "faith" in his fellow Jedi and turn away from them to join an alliance with Palpatine {actually Darth Sidious} in hopes of learning "how to keep Padme' from certain death." After kneeling before Sidious, Anakin accepts his duties to "do what must be done...show no mercy, for all Jedi are now an enemy of the Republic." -including his friend and mentor, Obi-Wan Kenobi. He hurries off to "cleanse the temple" and prepare to cut down the Seperatists on Mustafar as well as face his old Master for the "Duel of the Fates."

Anakin's betrayal of the Jedi by joining the Sith is one of those monumental shifts in the story of "Revenge..., hence the title. It hurt me to watch him hurt everyone around him besides Palpatine of course, justifying it all in his head because his intention was to save his beloved Padme'.Those of us who have seen the film or have friends and family who can't keep a secret know things don't turn out as Anakin planned...by no stretch of the imagination, but of course that was to be expected..."Sith, is about Anakin becoming Darth Vader!

Dear Padme', You were my love, my life, beloved. I only wished to save you. Once there was the dream of love returned, of us, now dark with the unknown, I knew not how to hold fast, to keep you. With you I was ever not only the Jedi knight but, also the man I knew I could be, not only strong, but confident knowing you would be there upon every return...brief furlough, from the fight. Like a gossamer veil, translucent clouds floated lightly across a full, ivory moon, throwing a lambent radiance on the young woman who lay in the silken shadows of a large bed, her hair a sable mantle against the shoulders of the man who slept in her arms. He seemed to wake from a blissful dream, moving with slow, sensuous warmth in her embrace, and his lips brushed a kiss at the soft hollow at the base of her throat, where a pulse fluttered delicately. “When I was a child,” he whispered against her breast, “I used to think that the happiest moment of my life would be when I would fly out into the stars.” “And you have, my love.” “Yes. ROTJ timeframe. Darth Vader writes to his deceased wife about Luke (before he knows of Leia).

Padmé, my loving wife,

Several years have gone by since the tragedy of your untimely death. How I have missed my loving angel! Your embrace…your loving and tolerant nature…and your unwavering ability to brighten my world with a thought or touch. I miss gazing into your beautiful eyes and wish fervently that I could reverse time… I would not hesitate to bring you back to me. Your death shook me to the core of my soul for which I have never recovered and admittedly, without you, I didn’t want to. I ceased to care for those around me for without you, I was empty. I no longer wished to exist and became nothing more than a living shell that was fueled by anger…among other dark emotions.

Beloved – I became that which everyone feared upon your death. A monster. The power of the dark side took hold of my ravaged soul, twisting and corrupting it to suit its own purpose and…I allowed it. It swallowed my grief and pain and made me forget about love and think only of power and anger. First I failed my mother, and then I failed you. If you only knew how truly sorry I am…

Luke has been the shining light to your once beloved husband. You will be happy to know that he is also a Jedi, a powerful one at that, and the Emperor rightfully fears him. He has your wisdom and calming nature. You would be so proud of him. Even as I tell you this, my plans are already falling into place to take care of the evil stranglehold that the universe has had to endure these past twenty years. Unfortunately, Luke is an innocent participant in all of this, but there is no other way to fool the Emperor.

I know my life will come to an end when I kill Palpatine, but Luke will still be alive and finally, finally, I will be with you again. In peace.

Here are some really romantic "Happy Reunion" shots from the "Revenge of the Sith" DVD. These are the scenes of Anakin's return from The outer rim sieges back to Coruscant and the waiting arms of his wife, Padme' who tells him, "Something wonderful has happened...Ani, Im' pregnant" to which Anakin replies "That is wonderful...Our child is a blessing." For those of you just getting familiar with this blog or the film, Anakin is played by Hayden Christensen, Padme' is portrayed by Israli-american actress Natalie Portman, Portman is Natalie's stagename. These are pics from "Life as a House." The second pic is from an interview that Hayden Christensen did for E Entertainment News. The movie is a family drama that centers around a troubled young man {Hayden} who is coming to grips with his parents divorce and his father's failing health as well as being a "coming of age film." It is a very touching film but, parents may want to watch this one with their children as the "coming of age" scenes are sexually intense and there are drug references as well as drug use. Deluxe Avatars...Episodes 2 and 3 (10)

These avatars are considerably larger than the last ones I posted. They are ideal for MSN customers and are more customized in the look...enjoy! By posting the Episode 2 ones first you can see the age progression in the characters, being portrayed by the same three actors in both films...There are at least 5 years age difference in the characters in between 2 and 3. For example: Padawan Anakin/ Jedi Knight Anakin,
Teen Queen Amidala/ Senator Amidala and Padawan Obi-Wan/ Jedi Master Obi.

As you can see from these pictures Hayden has the dark smoldering allure that would make it hard for most women to resist him, however, he claims to be looking forward to being a family man one day and considers himself a very private person. I recall this quote from my early adolescence...from Paradise Lost I think, by Milton. It refers to the "Hero" myth in all it's lavish entirety... however, what is heroic to one may be desperation to another...it is solely, "point of view" just as evil is
sometimes "point of view" though on rare occasion...
The story of Anakin becoming Lord Vader is what some may consider a necessary evil{or so he felt} embarked on by a Heroic figure, Anakin; in order to prevent something far worse from occurring...
Anakin was decieved by someone...A mentor in whom he had trusted since boyhood...this mentor, a powerful "Sith Lord" who had conceled his true identity in order to gain a political stronghold in a democratic society so as to turn it into a Regime...an Empire of his own making...
Enter, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. He sends the suggestion of tormenting nightmares to Anakin in "Revenge of the Sith." Nightmares of impending death of Anakin's most cherished...his wife Padme', whom he has loved since he met her on his home planet of Tatooine at the tender, impressionable age of 10...she was there to comfort him after he won the podrace and had to leave his mother behind to become a Jedi...she was there to comfort him when his mother died...murdered by the Tusken raiders{Sandpeople}, an attachment had been formed over time due mostly in part to the nurturing kindness of a paticular young woman {Anakin often refered to her as his "Angel" because of her beauty} whose path had crossed with an ambitious young man whom she considered to be "a diamond in the rough..."
Consider this for a moment...If you loved someone and their very existence meant more to you than anything else in the world and a "life" {actually "lives" though he knew not so} created of that love was only months away from being born, would you not do absolutely everything in your power to keep and protect it?
That is the tragedy of Anakin's story...
He listens to this mentor, this friend {or so he thinks} who tells him that if he gives his alligence to the Sith he is promised the power to save the ones he loves from dying...of course the Sith are not like the Jedi, whom use their power for the good of others...the Sith think inwards only of themselves, and we come to realize that the promise does not exist, it is a lie of manipulation, a lie told to Anakin by the Chancellor in order to draw him into an evil partner-ship of domination, one that we find out will indeed mean the end of the Republic and the beginning of "The Empire." What causes Anakin to turn away from the Jedi is their fear of him...Anakin was born with the ambition, strength and courage of both Sith and Jedi alike, within the circles of battle he was known as "The Chosen one" and "The Hero without Fear", therefore, his "Sith" like capabilities cause fear among the Jedi. The Sith however, see him as a powerful asset if turned... There is one major factor Anakin fails to consider after making his choice to "turn to the darkside", in doing so he becomes a tyrant, a dictator and abandons the work of peacemaker donned by all Jedi, and admired by Padme',for the Sith are only narrow minded vessels of war...their real power is their reckless abandon for all things enabling peace, their love of chaos. So, what becomes of the Angel, She heartbreakingly tells Anakin toward the end of "Revenge of the Sith" you are going down a path I cannot follow. So you see, his ruthless ambition and lust for more power in order to save Padme' is ultimately the very reason she is lost to him. She feels he is no longer the man she fell in love with all those years ago. He is no longer the brilliant, peaceloving Idealist whose inner strenght against adversity she always felt safe with. In conclusion I will say this, be careful who you choose to befriend...{Obi-Wan tries desperately to pursuade Anakin to keep his faith with the Jedi, but to no avail which causes the horrible burn scenes at the end of the film but, we will touch on that another time}if you tread not lightly and misplace your faith, and if you are not more careful with the love in your life graciously given by others, you could find yourself at an ends you only ever hoped you would never encounter! Spoiler>>Padme' dies at the end of "Sith", the result of a broken heart...now it is only through his son Luke does Lord Vader have any hope of redeeming himself...and of course that is another story...

These shots from "Sith" are the bomb! We can get a powerful example of how skilled Anakin has become as a Jedi... Hayden Christensen gives a very "soulful" performance of "The Chosen One" becoming the dedicated Knight who successfully takes his revenge against the eloquent yet menacing "Sith Lord Tyrannus, of course at the urging of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine...the puppetmaster is starting to pull the strings tighter!" At this time in the film Anakin is unaware that this is all part of Palpatine's plan to draw him in towards the "Darkside"...dictatorship, loss of love, and the end of "The Republic" as they together form "The New Empire" with "Deathstar!"
The pictures order may be slightly off due to sizing content relational conflict in that these pics come from several different sources...

Hayden took a vacation in Barbados {water is light-blue,clean and clear like in Wilmington, here in N.C.}with girlfriend Lola Skye after filming "Revenge of the Sith" in Australia and "The Decameron" in Italy, gosh he keeps busy doesn't he? As you see here Lola is pretty aggressive but, Hayden doesn't seem to mind! And as far as those speculations about Hayden's sexuality...I think it's pretty safe to say...he's straight! Thank God, If he was gay it would be a terrible waste of hotness, and what about those swimming trunks...pretty hot! Id' say he's got it where it counts and anyone who says otherwise can take a long jump off a short pier!

Hayden has a new film coming out this coming spring, which will be here before you know it. You know how time seems to fly once your an adult! Haven't got a release date yet but, when I do I will post it. It is a period-comedy set in Italy.

Knighthood takes practice perfect...

As you can see from the photographes here Hayden and co-star Ewan Mcgregor did alot of practicing to master the "lightsaber" techniques laid out for them to "master" by stunt coordinator Nick Gillard,{wearing lanyard}. Hayden did weight training for 4 months prior to filming so he could "buff up" at George Lucas's request for the role of "Anakin" this time around. Anakin is no longer a padawan learner...He is now a full-fledge Jedi Knight fighting in the clone wars, five years older then he was in "Attack of the Clones"{then a rather "young" looking 20}. Hayden had to grow his short hairstyle from "clones" out as well to better portray the passing of time between the two films. Rumor has it both Hayden and Ewan Mcgregor did almost all of their own stunts on the film up to and including those in the climactic "duel" scenes on the computer-generated yet ominously dangerous lava-planet of Mustafar.

No doubt if you have a DVD player you know what's "hot" on the market of new DVD releases...Star Wars Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith!!! Due in part to Hayden Christensen's passionate portrayal of Anakin Skywalker...The Jedi Knight who turns to the "Darkside" in a futile attempt to "save" his wife Padme' from his intrusive nightmares that warn of her demise. Those of you who have seen "Sith" know these dreams were a tool used by "Darth Sidious" to draw Anakin into an alliance with him and to make Anakin his "new apprentice." The film is both compelling and sad but, they do show off Hayden's "knack" for performing above average in "tragic-type" settings. Enjoy these pictures from "Sith" and if you haven't seen it, go rent it or borrow it from a friend...you won't be disappointed, for Star Wars fans, this is the one we have waited many moons to see!!!

Hayden Christensen was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to David Christensen (a Canadian software programmer of Danish and English descent) and Alie Nelson (an American corporate speechwriter of Swedish and Italian descent). He has three siblings: Tove, Hejsa and Kaylen. Raised outside Toronto, Ontario, Hayden attended Unionville High School in Unionville, Ontario, Canada. He was discovered when his older sister Hejsa, a former trampoline champion, was shopping around for an agent.
He appeared in Canadian television programs when he was young, then diversified into American television in the late 1990s. He acquired his initial fame starring in Fox's Family Network TV series, Higher Ground (2000), showing off his acting talents as a teen who was sexually molested by his stepmother, then turning to drugs in his despair.
Film career: Christensen's critically praised portrayal of a misunderstood teenager in Life as a House (2001) earned him Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations as well as the National Board of Review's award for Breakthrough Performance of the Year, the performance didn't receive widespread public notice. However, his star-making role as Anakin Skywalker in Attack of the Clones (2002) made him an A-list star. Subsequently, he garnered good reviews as journalist Stephen Glass in 2003's Shattered Glass. Finally, he received favorable responses in the last Star Wars prequel Revenge of the Sith (2005), where he played a more mature, insecure Anakin gradually converting to the Dark Side.

Hello fellow Haydenites, I'm Sandra. I'm new to blogging and am very excited about working on my own. This is a work in progress, I will be posting information and pictures about Hayden Christensen...he is "Anakin Skywalker" in Episode 2 and 3 of the Star Wars films. He is "Sam" in the movie Life as a House and he plays "Stephen Glass" in Shattered Glass which is a biotopic film about" The Fabulist" writer and journalist of the same name from The New Republic Magazine. Hayden and older brother, Tove worked on this one together, Tove being an assistant director on the film. Some of you younger fans may have seen him as a troubled youth on the Fox series "Higher Ground" That was the breakthrough role that got Hayden noticed by famous Star Wars creator and director, George Lucas. The Decameron, a period comedy starring Hayden and Misha Barton{of the O.C} is slated for release in the very near future.When I have a date I will post it.

Hayden Christensen playes Anakin Skywalker in Episode 2, "Attack of the Clones" and "Revenge of the Sith" George Lucas is quoted as saying, "I picked an actor who already had a "darkside" as opposed to choosing someone light and funny and trying to draw it out of them." Hayden's portrayal of Anakin is both passionate and compelling to say the least and it has made him an international star. No doubt his "star" will continue to rise. He is slated for several more films in the near future. The "buzz" right now is about the thriller titled "Awake."
